The self-test

The self-test runs entirely in your browser. Your answers only leave your device at the moment you enter your name and email address to receive your result. We then process: your first name, email address, your answers and the indicative result. We use these to send you your result. Only if you give separate consent do we also use your email address for additional information emails; you can withdraw that consent in every email.

The photo assessment

Photos you submit for the photo assessment are sent by you, by email. They are used solely for the medical assessment of your upper eyelids. Because an assessment with a suitability opinion qualifies as remote care under Dutch law, the opinion and the accompanying photos are recorded in the secure patient system of Looks Clinics, within the EU, under the statutory retention rules for medical records (WGBO). After recording, the photos are deleted from the email environment.

The video consultation

The video consultation is governed by the privacy terms of Looks Clinics and the ClinicMinds patient system. Payment runs through a secure payment environment; Ooglidcheck does not receive or store any payment details.

Analytics and advertising

We measure the use of this site with Google Analytics 4 and use the Meta pixel to bring our information to the attention of people who may benefit from it. IP addresses are processed anonymised. You can refuse or delete cookies in your browser settings.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct and delete your data, and you can withdraw consent at any time. Statutory retention periods apply to medical records. Send your request to info@looksclinics.nl. Complaints about data processing can be lodged with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
