Video consultation with the specialist

In a 15-minute video consultation you discuss your eyelids, expectations and questions directly with a BIG-registered eyelid specialist. The introduction is free: you pay € 50 to reserve your appointment. If you decide not to plan treatment after the consultation, this amount is fully refunded; if you do proceed, it is deducted in full from the treatment. You pay through a secure payment and automatically receive the video link with your booking confirmation.

How it works

  1. Choose a time that suits you via the booking button. You reserve directly with € 50; this amount is fully refunded if you decide not to have treatment, and deducted if you do proceed.
  2. You receive a confirmation with the video link. There is nothing to install. Please note: the confirmation email is in Dutch; the consultation itself can of course be held in English.
  3. The specialist discusses your situation, assesses your eyelids via the camera and gives honest advice on the next step, even if that next step is "do nothing".

Why do I pay € 50 if the introduction is free?

The € 50 is a reservation: the specialist personally sets aside time for you. If you decide not to plan treatment after the consultation, the amount is fully refunded. If you do proceed, it is deducted in full from the treatment. Either way, the consultation itself costs you nothing.

What if I need to reschedule?

You can reschedule via the link in your confirmation. Please do so at least 24 hours in advance.

Is a video consultation the same as a clinic consultation?

It is a full discussion of your situation. Only in case of doubt will the physician suggest an in-person consultation at the clinic; on the day of treatment itself, the physician naturally always assesses you in person.
